A coalition of Nigerian diaspora organisations has commended Air Peace for delivering quality and seamless services across its domestic, regional and international routes throughout the 2026 summer travel season.

The groups, in a joint statement issued as the summer season draws to a close, described the airline's performance as a demonstration of professionalism, operational resilience and growing capacity to compete on the global aviation stage.

The coalition comprises the Global Peace Movement International, led by Dr. Mike Uyi; The International Watchers, chaired by Dr. Olusegun Ademola; the Nigerian Heritage and Development Agenda, represented by its Secretary General, Dr. Imatitikwa Igbinoba; the Sustained Policy and Reform Coalition, headed by Dr. Hauwa Ladi Usman; the Nigerian Interest Protection Forum, chaired by Dr. Chidebere Chiamaka Ifesinachi; and the Diaspora Accountability Network Nigeria, represented by its Secretary General, Dr. Beatrice Etim-Onyemachi.

The organisations said the summer period, traditionally characterised by increased passenger traffic and pressure on airline operations, provided a significant test of Air Peace's capacity to deliver dependable services.

They noted that the airline successfully rose to the challenge, commending its management and workforce for maintaining what they described as hitch-free, efficient and passenger-focused services across its network.

According to the groups, Air Peace has continued to demonstrate that a Nigerian-owned airline can operate beyond conventional expectations and compete favourably in the international aviation market.

The coalition said the airline's expanding international operations had also strengthened connections between Nigeria and the global Nigerian community, particularly during periods of heightened travel demand.

“Air Peace has truly proved itself beyond the ordinary. Its performance throughout the summer season is a source of pride to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.

“It has demonstrated that with vision, professionalism and sustained investment, a Nigerian airline can meet international expectations and earn the confidence of travellers across the world,” the groups said.

They commended the airline's pilots, cabin crew, engineers, ground personnel and other members of staff for their commitment to maintaining service standards throughout the busy season.

The coalition urged Air Peace to sustain the momentum beyond the summer season by continuously improving its passenger experience, operational efficiency and international services.

The groups also called on Nigerians to support indigenous companies that demonstrate excellence and project a positive image of the country globally.

The coalition congratulated Air Peace on what it described as a successful summer operation and expressed confidence that the airline would continue to raise the bar in Nigeria's aviation industry.
