The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Edo State Command, has felicitated the Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, as he clocks 56, praising his commitment to strengthening peace, security and development across the state.

The State Commandant, Commandant Akintayo Saheed Ayinla, in a birthday message issued on behalf of the officers and men of the Command, said the occasion provided an opportunity to recognise the governor's efforts towards creating a peaceful and secure environment for residents.

Ayinla said the Corps remained appreciative of initiatives and policies aimed at advancing the security and socio-economic development of Edo State, stressing that security remained critical to the state's growth and prosperity.

He wished Governor Okpebholo good health, longevity, wisdom and strength to continue steering the affairs of the state, while also praying for divine protection and sound judgment in the discharge of his responsibilities.

The NSCDC Commandant expressed optimism that the governor's administration would record further achievements in security, infrastructure, economic growth and sustainable development.

He said the Corps was confident that the governor's vision and determination would provide renewed impetus to efforts to make Edo safer, more peaceful and conducive for residents, businesses and investors.

Ayinla also prayed for the continued protection of the governor and his family, as well as God's guidance to enable him achieve his aspirations for the people of Edo State.

He described the governor's 56th birthday as a significant milestone and wished him greater accomplishments and enduring impact in public service.

The Commandant, while congratulating Senator Okpebholo, reaffirmed the commitment of the NSCDC Edo State Command to supporting lawful efforts aimed at maintaining peace, protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, and promoting security across the state.

He concluded with birthday wishes to the governor and prayers for the continued progress of Edo State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
