President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Dr. Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, on his 50th birthday, praising his role in advancing Nigeria’s infrastructure development through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Dr. Ewalefoh’s stewardship at the commission, noting that his leadership has strengthened regulatory oversight, deepened transparency in project delivery, and aligned the agency’s work with the Renewed Hope Agenda through bold and sustainable reforms.
President Tinubu recalled the PPP Summit convened by the ICRC in June 2025, which he personally declared open, describing it as a milestone that brought government, investors, and development partners together around a unified framework that restored confidence and provided momentum for PPP-driven growth.
“Under Dr Ewalefoh’s stewardship, the commission has strengthened regulatory oversight, deepened transparency in project delivery, and aligned its work with the Renewed Hope Agenda through bold and sustainable reforms”, the President noted.
He wished the ICRC boss renewed strength, wisdom, and greater success in service to the nation, encouraging him to sustain efforts towards delivering world-class infrastructure that reflects the aspirations of all Nigerians.
