Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Benin Zonal Command, have arrested 39 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in the state.

The commission revealed this in a post shared on its Facebook page.

According to the antigraft body, the suspects were arrested following actionable intelligence on their involvement in computer-related fraud.

Items recovered from them include three Mercedes-Benz GLK, one Mercedes Benz C300 4 Matic, amongst others. The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
