The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command,FunshoAdegboye has given an immediate order to the tactical team leaders of the Force in the State to fish out the perpetrators of the kidnapping of the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State, Tony Aziegbemi.

Aziegbemi was kidnapped by unknown gunmen few meters to his GRA residence in Benin City at about 11pm on Friday, while on his way home after attending a meeting at the Government House.

In a press statement, signed by the Public Relations Ofiicer of the command, SP ChidiNwabuzor, Adegboye mandated the rescue team to collaborate with vigilante groups and hunters in the State in a view to rescuing the PDP chieftain unhurt.

He also seeks the support of the general public for useful information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrator of the act.
