Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that there is an urgent need for a law that will help to check organ harvesting and trafficking in the country.
Obasanjo equally demanded legislative support in terms of a new bill to support people with kidney disease.
Speaking at the 36th Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the National Association of Nephrology in Abeokuta, the former President also called for investments in local production of dialysis consumables.
