As a prelude to the conduct of its primaries fixed for the 17th of February, the Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has conducted its Ward Delegates Congress in the 18 local Government Areas of the state to elect five delegates each from the wards.
The party in a statement signed by its state acting chairman, Honourable Jarrett Tenebe, noted that the deployment followed last weekend's conduct of its membership revalidation exercise.
Honourable Tenebe added that the exercise signposts a continuation of its desire to ensure actions that ultimately deepen internal democracy.
While conveying its resolve to regain governance in the state, the party reemphasized that it has not and will not endorsed any of the aspirants that have been cleared by the committee setup by the NWC neither has it given any of its organs, persons or group to do so its behalf.
