The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the appointment of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police, Dasuki Galadanci, AIG in charge of Zone 12 Bauchi as a Deputy Inspector General of Police to representing the Northwest Geopolitical zone of the country.

He will replace DIG Ibrahim Ka’oje who is expected to retire on the 2nd of February this year.

PSC also approved the promotion of one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven  senior Police Officers to their next substantive ranks.

The Commission elevated Fourteen Commissioners of Police to the next rank of Assistant Inspectors General of Police.
