The Federal Capital Territory Police Command had once again rescued an abductee, Suleiman Sabo, from kidnappers in Sauka, along Airport Road, Abuja.

The victim, who sustained injuries from being manhandled by the kidnappers, was rescued by FCT police officers at about 11:30 am on Sunday.

Revealing details of the development in a statement, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, said the rescued victim is currently receiving medical treatment while the suspect, one Muhammad Abel male, aged 32 from Kogi state, is in police custody.

The arrest comes days after the release of five of the six Al-Kadriyar girls who were amongst a total of 23 persons kidnapped on January 2, 2023, in the Bwari area of the Federal Capital Territory.
