The Edo state government has reaffirmed it commitment in making sure retired civil servants in the state are not being owed.
The State head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa made this known in an interview with super FM in Benin City.
Okungbowa revealed that the state government has taken the payments of gratuity very seriously, adding that government releases two hundred million monthly for gratuity.
The civil service boss however admitted that government cannot be able offset the payments of gratuity at once, insisting that the money has owed for long period of time.
