2X CAF Champions League Winners and reigning Nigeria Premier League Champion, Enyimba have been handed a tough draw against Ahli Benghazi of Libya. The peoples Elephant are making a return to Africa's Elite club football competition after missing out last season. The Winner will face ASEC Mimosas (Cote D'Ivoire) or Coton FC (Benin Republic) in the next round.

Elsewhere, Remo Stars will face Ghanian Premier League side Medeama SC in the first round, as the Winner will face  Horoya Sc (Guinea) in the next round.

The 1st Leg is scheduled for 18th,19th, 20th August 2023 while 2nd Leg is expected to take place between 25th, 26th and 27th August 2023.
