Residents in the Benin metropolis have expressed

displeasure over the scarcity of the new naira notes in banks.

Customers who spoke to Super fm reporter, Randy Ogbobio

at various banks in Benin City decried the unavailability of the

new naira in circulation.

Others complained about the system of dispensing cash in

the banking system.

It will recall that the Supreme Court had order the central bank

of Nigeria (CBN) to let the new and the old naira notes to flow

side by side till December 31, 2023.
