Cult war in Edo State has taken a drastic turn as two men

have been shot dead in Benin City.

The renewed war started after a final-year student of the

University of Benin, simply known as Desmond, was killed by

unknown gunmen.

There has been a report of retaliation leading to some

persons being killed in various locations of the state.

The state police public relations officer, SP Chidi Nwabuzor,

in an interview with Super fm, said some of the cultists have

been apprehended.
