The Minister of Communication, Isa Pantami has inaugurated

a Digital Economy Community of Practice.

The inauguration was done in conjunction with the Policy

Innovation Centre of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group

(NESG) in Abuja.

Speaking at the event, the minister said that the digital

economy centre has been doing well building and

consolidating Nigeria’s economy.

He also used the opportunity to point out that the rejection of

the 5% excise duty was necessary to avoid jeopardizing the

growth and development the sector has recorded.
