The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has

said that supplementary election will hold in places where

results had not been declared for last Saturday’s National

Assembly poll.

The commission said it will announce the date for the

supplementary poll after conducting the governorship and

Houses of Assembly elections on March 11.

In a statement after its weekly meeting, INEC National

Commissioner for Information and Voter Education, Festus

Okoye, said the commission is putting finishing touches to

preparation for the state elections.

INEC also announced that the rescheduled National

Assembly election in Edo and Enugu states will be held

alongside the governorship and Houses of Assembly polls.
