The Edo state government has called on relevant government agencies as well as the international community to come to the aid of the state in combating the dreaded Lassa Fever pandemic ravaging the state. 

The state government at its first Executive Council meeting held this year, had the lassa fever issue topping the agenda for consideration. 

The Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare briefed newsmen after the State Executive Meeting.
