The Department of State Services has denied invading the
office of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin
Emefiele.
There were reports in some media outlets that the DSS had
stormed the CBN headquarters to arrest the governor of the
apex bank.
In a statement by the DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, the
security agency denied arresting Emeifele.
Meanwhile, the CBN Governor resumed duty on Monday after
his annual vacation abroad.
