Edo Queens lost their long standing unbeaten home run as

Abia Angels pip the Benin based team one nil at the Samuel

Marian Ohadiwe's 57 minutes strike was enough to earn the

Angels their first victory over Edo Queens at the Nigeria

Woman Football League (NWFL).

Reacting to the defeat, Coach Moses Aduku rue the off day

performance of his charges and commended their opponents

for their well performance

Also speaking after the game, Abia Angels Coach, Ann

Chiejina was delighted about the outcome of the game.

Edo Queens remains on top of the log in Group B with 12

points, from four wins and two defeat as the NWFL goes on

break.
