A former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, has assured that the programmes and appointments made by Governor Monday Okpebholo will benefit the people of Edo State.

He stated this during a thanksgiving service to mark his 55th birthday at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church, Benin City.

Shaibu who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, commended the governor for hitting the ground running from day one and prayed for the resources needed to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

While thanking God for keeping him alive, Shaibu encouraged young people to believe in the country and not allow their rights to be trampled upon by anyone.
