The outgoing Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has declared that he has no regret bringing down the Edo Central Hospital, Benin City.

Recall that Governor Obaseki had in 2022 pulled down the hospital located at Ring Road, Benin City to pave the way for the construction of Museum for West Africa (MOWA).

The governor made the remark in Benin City during the commissioning of the remodeled School of Science and Health Technology and matriculation ceremony of the new students at the school.

He noted that in place of the central hospital, they have built over 10 primary healthcare centres serving the population one central hospital used to serve.
