This was revealed in a statement signed by the TCN spokesperson, Ndidi Mbah and made available to newsmen.

He said with the restoration of the line, the Apir-Lafia 330kV transmission line 2 is now operational; also, bulk power transmission has been restored to Lafia, Makurdi, Jos, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, and Gombe States.

The northern region has been without electricity for over a week. The outage was said to have been triggered after the tripping off, of the 330kV circuit transmission line between Benue and Enugu.
