The Edo State House of Assembly has directed that the impeachment notice served on the State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu be published in the Nigerian observer and other National dailies.

The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku who stated this at Monday plenary explained that the action became necessary because the Deputy Governor refused to acknowledge an earlier impeachment notice sent to him through the clerk of the house.

The latest move by the House is to ensure all grounds are explored to adequately serve the impeachment notice to elicit the Deputy Governor's response within the seven day ultimatum given by the House.
