The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has refuted media reports suggesting the looting of its warehouse in Abuja.

The agency in a statement by its Press Unit shared on the its X account said the warehouse in question does not belong to it.

The agency however sympathized with owners of the looted facility.

It added that to forestall any security breach at NEMA facilities, the Director General Mustapha Ahmed has directed Zonal Directors and Heads of Operations to strengthen security in and around the agency’s offices and warehouses nationwide.
