The Yoruba Nollywood actor, Oyebamiji, who celebrated his 44th birthday on the 25th of December, 2023, died on Friday, while President Bola Tinubu has sent his condolence message after veteran actors John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu and Quadri Oyebamiji, known as Sisi Quadri, passed away last week.

Nollywood actor, Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, died on Saturday at the age of 62.

In a statement, Tinubu, through his Special Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, condoled with the families of the thespians saying they brought joy and relief to millions of Nigerians by the exercise of their geniuses.

The President also commiserated with the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, and the entire creative community, assuring them of his support, thoughts, and prayers in this time of grief.
