 Comrade Kennedy Iyere has emerged the governorship candidate of Accord Party for the Edo State 2024 governorship election slated for 24 September this year.

Comrade Iyere was returned unopposed after five other gubernatorial aspirants stepped down their aspiration for him in a rancour free primary election held in Benin City.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Iyere assured members of Accord Party in the state that he has the capacity to win the election adding that he’s leading a coalition that will stage a political tsunami in the Edo 2024 governorship.
