The Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, has inaugurated a training programme for commanders of the Special Intervention Squad (SIS).

The inauguration was done in partnership with the United States Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.

The SIS is an initiative of the IG which was created to combat violent crimes across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
