The Benin Electricity Distribution Company has said the power problem being experienced by its customers is beyond its control.

The BEDC in its X handle told its customers in Delta, Edo, Ekiti, and Ondo States that the reduction in supply hours was due to limitations in allocation from the national grid.

They however, assured customers to resume regular supply soon, as they will work with stakeholders to improve the current situation.

Super FM had reported that Nigerians have been complaining of power outages since December 2023, yet the issues have remained without any improvement.
