The House of Representatives has rejected the claim that lawmakers got 100 million naira each as palliatives from the Federal Government.
The House spokesman Akin Rotimi, in a statement, described a claim by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Assistant General Secretary, Christopher Onyeka, as malicious, irresponsible and in bad faith.
Onyeka had alleged that each lawmaker raked in the palliative sum from the government while the government was sharing paltry sums as palliatives for Nigerians.
The House of Representatives however demanded an immediate retraction of the claim and a public apology from the Nigeria Labour Congress.
