The Edo State Police Command has arrested six suspects for murder and cultism, while efforts are ongoing to arrest one fleeing suspect.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chidi Nwabuzor who revealed this during a Press Briefing said the Divisional Police officer in charge of South Ibie Police station in Auchi received a complaint from one Oyarvuege Shaibu that his younger brother Musa Jeffaru was shot dead by hoodlums.

He said the operatives stormed the scene and a certain man called a recovered phone, which was traced to his house, where the suspects were arrested, while he escaped from Police arrest. 

SP Nwabuzor said efforts are on to arrest the main gang leader still at large.
