The newly appointed Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL), Chidi Okonkwua has assured of a better 2023/2024 NNL season.

In an exclusive chat with Super FM Randy Ogbobio, Chidi said the board was engaging 2nd tier clubs on the issues of players' welfare.

He also revealed that the league will be prosecuted using a group format.

He assured that the kickoff date for the league will be decided at their annual general meet in October.
