A final year student from the Public Administration Department of the Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, and a bikers ticket issuer have been reported shot dead by unknown gunmen.

Super FM gathered that the incident happened on Wednesday, 30th of August, outside Area II of the Polytechnic.

A press statement that emanated from the office of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) Auchi Polytechnic identified the final year student as said Ibrahim Asmat Happy.

According to the statement, Asmat was not the intended target by the gunmen but the Bikers Ticket Issuer.
