Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has requested that the State House of Assembly confirm four commissioner nominees. 

Governor Obaseki made the request in a letter dated 10th of August and addressed to the Speaker of the House, Right Honourable Blessing Agbebaku.

The Commissioner nominees include, Suraju Jibril, Suberu Abubakar, Osilama Okuofo and Ogbeide Isibor.

The Speaker however referred the letter to the house standing committee on rules and business for action.
