Bendel Insurance extended their unbeaten run in the Nigeria Premier League to 21games after playing out a 1-1 draw with Enyimba of Aba (the people's elephant) on Wednesday as the playoffs entered matchday 3. 

After playing a draw in the first two games, the Benin Arsenal started the game against Enyimba International on the front but the backline of the People's Elephant nullified all their threats. Sadiq Abubakar put Enyimba ahead with a long-range effort in the 22nd minute which beat Insurance goalie Amas Obasogie but Divine Nwachukwu netted a leveller for Insurance in the 36th minute heading the ball into goal. 

Insurance continued to miss begging chances in the second half of the game, just as it happened in their games against Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars. The draw recorded in the game put Enyimba on 5 points and Insurance has 3 points after 3 rounds of game.  Bendel Insurance's winless streak in the 2023 Nigeria Premier League Super 6 extends to 3games. 

Bendel Insurance will play Rivers United on Friday in their 4th game at 2pm.
