Workers in the Edo State have commended Governor Godwin Obaseki's approval for the payment of 13th-month salary to Edo civil and public servants this year.

They gave the commendation while reacting to inquiries by Super FM on the significance of the approval given by the governor.

According to them, the current economic realities suggest that Nigerian workers are underpaid and the governor's gesture will help to ameliorate their challenges.
