The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has advised the
ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to zone the Senate
Presidency to the South East or South South.
IPAC said if this is done, it will allow for inclusive governance
and douse the religious and tribal tension which was caused
as a result the 2023 general election.
The National Chairman of IPAC, Engineer Yabagi Yusuf while
reading the communiqué of the Council after their General
meeting, said zoning the Senate Presidency to the South East
or South South is in line with the provisions of the Federal
Character.
