The National Assembly has forwarded the harmonized

version of the Nigerian Peace Corps (Establishment) Bill to

President Muhammadu Buhari for assent.

The bill was transmitted to Presidential for assent by the clerk

to the National Assembly, Sani Tambuwal, via a letter written

to that effect.

In line with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution, President

Buhari is expected to assent to the bill on or before the 11th of

May 2023 when the 30-day window.
