The Edo State Government has called on the general public,

particularly owners of all abandoned corpses at the Stella

Obasanjo Hospital Mortuary, Sapele Road, Benin City, to

claim them on or before Friday 5th of May, 2023.

The government through the Edo State Hospitals

Management Agency warned that a mass burial will be

carried out for the abandoned corpses on the 10th of May,

2023.

A press statement issued and signed by the Chief Executive

of the Agency, Dr. Efosa Aisien said all abandoned corpses

from before and up to 2022 at the Stella Obasanjo Hospital

Mortuary, Benn City will be affected.
