The Concerned Ekpoma Eminent Stakeholders Forum has

condemned the failure to commence work on the Ekpoma

section of the Benin-Abuja highways despite claims that funds

had been released to the contracting firm Dantata and Sowae.

The Forum noted that the Federal Government revealed to its

delegation during a recent visit to the Federal Ministry of

Works that the contractor had been mobilized to resume work

on the road.

The Group made the observation at a meeting held in

Ekpoma, the headquarters of Esan West Local Government

Area of the state.

It resolved to send a delegation to pay Dantata and Sawoe a

visit at their base in Avielle in Etsako West Local Government

Area of the state for an engagement with the project engineer.
