The management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has

condemned the killing of one Desmond, a final year student of

the school, popularly known as Mayor.

Mayor, a student of the Department of Public Administration,

was shot at close range at 9pm on Monday.

The Public Relations Officer of UNIBEN, Dr Benedicta

Ehanire, in a statement revealed that the management is

working closely with the police and internal security to

apprehend the killer.
