President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock over the
demise of the Secretary and Director of the Civil Defence,
Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board of the Ministry of
Interior, Hajiya A’isha Rufa’i.
The President expressed sadness over the director’s death in
a statement by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, in Abuja.
The late A’isha Rufa’i had received the commendation of
Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola for her commitment and
dedication to duty.
The minister described her as an example while urging
workers in the Federal Civil Service to assign her a higher
responsibility when the minister re-inaugurated the Board
headquarters following its redesign and rehabilitation by the
late scribe.
