The Federal executive Council (FEC) has approved 15 billion

naira for the construction of an access road linking the Benin-

Asaba expressway to the Second Niger Bridge.

The Information and Culture Minister Lai Mohammed

announced this when he briefed State House correspondents

on the outcome of the council’s meeting, presided over by

President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.

The minister expressed the hope that the completion of the

road would help achieve the dream of its inauguration before

May 29.
