The Flying Eagles of Nigeria made amends for their poor semi final display against Uganda which ended their hopes of lifting an 8th Afcon U 20 Championship.  Nigeria defeated Tunisia 4 nil on Saturday to finish in 3rd place.

Nigeria took the lead in the 9th minute through Ibrahim Muhammad but the Tunisians  were able to prevent the flying eagles from increasing the scoreline before half time.  On resumption of Second half, Nigeria doubled the lead through Ahmed Abdullahi in the 46th minute  which was assisted by Ibrahim Muhammad .

Sunday Jude capped the flying Eagles dominant  performance with a brace in the 48th mins and 90th mins to ensure Nigeria signed out on a high note. Next task for coach Laddan Bosso will be building a much more formidable team in time for the U-20 Fifa world Cup in Indonesia later in May.
