The independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says a total of 2,258 permanent voters cards (PVC) were collected on Wednesday 1st of February. Figures released by the Edo state INEC Head of Voters Education and publicity, Timidi Wariowei showed that Ikpoba okha Local Government Area has the highest number of collection with a total of 702, followed by Oredo with 398 and Ovia North East with 254.
Egor 148,Esan West 145, Orhionwon 145, Ovia South West 109,Eaan South East 52, Estako West 50, Akoko Edo 45, Esan North East 45, Uhunwonde 36, Owan East 34, Owan West 27, Estako East 24, Igueben 19,Esan Central recorded 14, while Estako Central had 11.
According to notice, the collection of PVC will continue on a daily bases at the INEC offices in LGA until it comes to an end this Sunday, February 5.
