The Federal Executive Council has approved a total sum of 15.57 billion naira for various contracts in the Works and Housing, Education, and Industry, Trade and Investment ministries.

The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, alongside his counterparts revealed this to State House Correspondents after the meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

Fashola, whose ministry received 9.69 billion naira, said the Council approved the amount for refund of monies spent on federal roads by the Plateau and Borno states governments.
