Members of the Rivers State Civil Society Organization are expected to stage a protest today in Port Harcourt over the lingering fuel crisis in the state.
The chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organization, ENEFAA GEORGEWILL, said the protest was aimed at drawing the attention of the federal government to the sufferings of Nigerians.
He said that in the rivers, people want the NNPC to explain the reason behind the increase in the pump price of PMS in the state.
ENEFAA GEORGEWILL further tasked the NNPC to supply petroleum products to government owned depot.
He said that petroleum marketers will disperse products at official pump prices when they get their product from a government depot.
